9 Covid Lies My Cousin Believed. Then She Got Covid

As I wrote about a month ago, Covid Hits Home. My 40 Something Cousin Just Came Home With An Oxygen Tank, my cousin R. believed the following Covid lies. Until she got sick and was hospitalized in December and spent 2 months home on an oxygen tank. Now she has a long recovery ahead of her.

• “I got Covid, now I can go back to my normal life, as I am IMMUNE!”. As soon as R. got the news she could go off her oxygen tank, she declared “I can’t wait to get back to normal!” I wanted to tell her to slow down and be sure to wear N95 in public and not socialize for a while. She had the Delta variant and her doctor told her she had 3 months of immunity to Covid. I’m not sure if she gets she has a few months left of immunity to Delta NOT Omicron. I really hope she doesn’t wind up back in the hospital. And she also needs to get vaccinated. I hope she does that BEFORE she starts all the socializing again.
