Right now, the following items are either very overpriced or hard to find.

• Eggs- The cost of eggs increased 5%, due to an outbreak of avian flu in US poultry farms. Maybe my neighbor with the rooster and hens has the right idea?
• Cough and cold medicine- This is a strange one, but makes sense with the high Covid numbers right now. My local grocery store was short on medicine. Good idea to stock up on Mucinex and cough meds now.
• Popcorn- Farmers are choosing not to sell popcorn because other products have a higher profit margin. So the next time you are at the movies, prices are probably higher.

• Tampons- First women’s right to choose is threatened, then the baby formula shortage, and now this? And to add insult to injury, they are going to raise prices in July?
• Hot sauce- There is a shortage of chili peppers. Global warming and drought rear their ugly heads!
