What Happened At My First Falconry Class

I have always been obsessed with birds like hawks and falcons. Almost a year ago, we attended a free bird show and saw some amazing raptors:

What Is The Difference Between Hawks and Falcons?

There are some differences!

Here are some ways to tell the difference between hawks and falcons:

Size: Falcons are generally smaller than hawks.

Flight: Falcons are much faster than hawks, and can dive at high speeds. Hawks glide or hover while hunting.

Wings: Falcons have long, pointed wings, while hawks have shorter, rounded wings.
