The White House Is Looking For Influencers

This sounds like an interesting opportunity for influencers:

The White House is allowing opportunities for “new media” outlets, influencers, podcasters and content creators to apply for White House press credentials to participate in White House press briefings.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said the administration has opened an application for independent journalists, podcasters, influencers and content creators to cover the White House.

“As long as you are creating news content of the day and are a legitimate independent journalist, you are welcome to cover this White House,” she added.

The seats along the wall at the front of the briefing will be designated for the “new media” figures. Traditionally, those seats have been reserved for White House press staff.
