It’s not all bad…

This past weekend, our small midwest town was fairly silent. Less neighborhood parties, traffic and no fireworks.

Normally our town is lit every summer holiday weekend. It makes my dog upset, my neighbor’s baby can’t sleep and it’s a fire hazard. Our police do nothing about it. It has been the most annoying thing about living here.

And now it’s legal, unfortunately, but no one can afford the fireworks!!!

Thank you inflation!

Also thank you for:

  • keeping people off the roads because gas is too expensive
  • flights are so expensive, that people can’t take vacation and continue to spread Covid, flu, etc.
  • helping the environment because people aren’t out shopping for fun, as prices are too high
  • inflation encourages people to save money
  • high prices lead to people staying home
  • fast food/takeout prices are so high, that more people are opting to cook at home
  • higher prices — less buying= surplus supply results in lower prices to get rid of inventory
  • more people are opting to use what they have at home instead of going out to buy the newest, shiniest thing
