Please Cancel Hot Vax Spring

I think we all jinxed ourselves last summer when everyone declared it was “Hot Vax Summer”.

I can’t believe I even have to write this. Summer 2021, we all had hope in our hearts. The vaxxed were ecstatic to get back to normal. I even went on a road trip to visit my far-away family.

It was like a brief, time travel trip to 2019. We could all exhale.

Then Delta ruined everything. Then Omicron took its turn, a reportedly “mild” illness that landed many, many people in the hospital.

So now there are rumors of Hot Vax Spring. WTF. What? Has no one learned their lesson? Even with having 3 shots under their belt, with the CDC debating the 4th, they want to party.

No one can control an American, I think the pandemic has taught us that. But what happened to common sense?

This winter has been atrocious. We all know once it gets to 50 degrees, especially in the northern part of the country, people are going to go nuts.
