Our Society Has Become So Rude- Are Millennials To Blame?
I was recently in the grocery store, picking up dinner stuff. I started walking towards a line when a Millennial cut before me.
“Sorry Ma’am!”
As a semi-feral Gen X woman, who has no time for a Millennial’s s-t, I nodded and under my breath said, “Rude”.
“What did you say?” she asked, looking over her shoulder, juggling her La Croix and premade salad.
I rolled my eyes and went to another line. Life is too weird right now to get in an altercation with someone over a grocery store line, you know?
Have you noticed that people are ruder now than they were before 2020? Either people are driving like maniacs, cutting lines or general rudeness.
The Cut recently wrote the new etiquette rules of society. And what a list. As a jaded Gen X, I had to comment on some of these “rules”.
