No, It’s Not Your Right to Knowingly Spread COVID, Flu, Or Anything Else Airborne and Refuse To Test

As we head into cold and flu season (or as we call year-round sickness now), people are in serious, serious denial.

I am going to have surgery in the next month and I can’t get sick. Or else it gets rescheduled. Luckily my family understands this. But there are some extended family members who really don’t give a s — t and don’t care.

And I know this for a fact because of the story I am about to tell you.

A year ago, this couple I will call Jack and Jill are know-it-alls, especially about medical matters. I also know a little something about medical matters. They have no medical background or training and have enjoyed good health their entire life.

As I have written about before, in my lifetime, I have had pneumonia, pleurisy, asthma, flu, and many bouts of bronchitis. I almost died from pneumonia and an asthma attack on two different occasions.

I am super familiar with inhalers, Prednisone, and nebulizers. I am familiar with it all. Then when my son was born, I got to see him go through it too, with being hospitalized for asthma, etc.

It sucks to go through it and it sucks to see your child go through respiratory issues.
