At thrift shops, like Plato’s Closet, flea markets and yard sales, be on the look-out for:

• shoes
• clothes
• accessories
• athletic shoes
• high-end/designer bags and backpacks
• winter jackets, boots,
• sandals, swimwear, etc.

At Garage Sales, Here Is a Tip:

Many garage sale sellers are putting signs of what items are valued on eBay. The problem with this is, 90% of you are putting a picture of a LISTED item. That does not mean that it what it sells for. In order to find that out, you need to do an Advanced search on eBay. Go to the Advanced tab (upper right), put in your keywords and then click on Completed and Sold Items, then click Search. This will give you the true “value”. If you must put a sign up, make sure you are showing that the items SELLS for that much on eBay.

I guarantee you that you will sell more of your items this way. If I go to a garage sale and they truly are selling at garage sale prices, but an item is a bit more expensive, I’ll still buy it if there is room to make a profit. If…
