One concept those in 2023 do not understand is the world is coming apart at the seams in a slow way, not in a bang. It is like a shirt or pair of trousers ripping at the seams and falling away.

I have an overview that no other human alive today has. Reaching over 150 years, I can see patterns in history. There is so much those alive today do not understand.

Life has never been easy. When we are older, we look back at “the good old days”. I reminisce frequently about the 1850’s. But those times were hard too. The American Civil War was already brewing and took off in 1861. It lasted four years on American soil.

Those living in America today cannot comprehend the horror of having war, right in your backyard. While WWI and WWII were fought on foreign and European soil, it never came here.

We’ve had terrorist-like events like 9/11 but never a war. But we are living through a war right now. A war for the soul of this country. A war for our future. A war for our children’s right to have a future.
