Letters From The Time Traveler: The Pandemic(s) Suddenly End 2024
Dearest Edith,
I write this with a bit of alarm and confusion. I was sent to the 2020s specifically to help people get through the apocalyptic times they were about to face.
As of 2022, the world was in the thick of pandemics. Victorian illness like polio, was cropping up everywhere. Wherever you turned, there was a new illness emerging.
Coughing and hacking in every shop. Maskless faces. No, I do not want to see your smile. I would rather see a mask on your face. No one telling the truth about how bad their Covid infection actually was, except the few like this:
And then this atrocious “health” campaign in NYC:
The first question one would ask is, “Are they trying to kill people?”
The “You Do You” expression has killed and disabled more people than 9/11 and all of the wars in the 1900s. To be sure, 2022 was a very hard year to get through. By going back and forth in time, I knew I had more of an understanding of what was going to happen. But it was still hard to report.
But then, I was sent to 2024. And it wasn’t what I expected at all. Perhaps I was on the wrong timeline?
It’s 2024. All of a sudden, Covid, Monkey Pox, and all the pandemics lining up stopped their transmission. Stopped killing. Stopped ruining lives. Stopped disabling people.
Many Americans, did not even notice they were no longer getting sick every few months. But for those paying…
