Dearest,
Do you remember Mary and Sarah, our neighbor’s washer lady and maid? How would you describe them? Docile, friendly, hard-working? Did they accept their station?
The world you live in, with servants, no longer exists in this world, except for the very rich. But now we are seeing a comeback. And it’s all because of climate change.
As I wrote, the 2020s were a time of swift climate change. The speed took the world by surprise.
Economically, the only ones genuinely ready for widespread and unpredictable climate change were the Rich and some of the Mid-Level.
They started building bunkers:
The rest of us would laugh at these ridiculously rich people with their bunkers. But the sad truth is, they were correct in their preparation.
