I don’t know about you, but I am over candles, decor items, doodads, and regifts.

Everyone I know is already battling clutter in their home like me? It is an ongoing issue that I deal with. Then I go to a holiday event or a party and more tchotchkes are given to me by well-meaning aunts or in-laws.

And it’s usually nothing I would ever use or display in my home. So I decided I am going to start donating all these items.

I discussed my solution with my husband last night. He said the thought counts and that I can’t donate the item.

That is bs. I have caught one of my in-laws reselling something I bought at their yard sale years ago. Another admitted they regifted several of the items I gave them over the years.

But I can’t donate? Or regift? Here’s what the etiquette says:
