It’s Not Jealousy. It’s Concern For Your Sanity

For the first 2 years of the pandemic, people were able to skirt around the pandemic “rules” that many of us followed. Rules like:

  • no movies
  • no vacations
  • no restaurants
  • no parties
  • no traveling
  • no fun

But now, it’s hitting home for at least some of these people that they need to stop f-g partying and get serious.

As the pandemic drags into year 3, there are still people brazen enough to post their social activities on Facebook. It is surreal and frankly, sickening.

For those of us putting in the work, we wonder are you crazy? Tone-deaf? Or stupid?

Recently I came across some tweets (I love Twitter) about doctors mentioning doctor friends GOING ON VACATION NOW and blasting it on social media.

If you can’t trust your doctor to do the right thing, who can you trust? It makes you question if they are gas-lighting their patients. If they are brave ie. stupid enough to get on airplanes right now and jet off to Hawaii, why are the rest of us staying…
