In the past, I have written a few articles kind of knocking Boomers. Sorry Boomers, I am a rebellious Gen X I guess! But the Boomers are right about the following:
PLASTIC STRAWS
Paper straws are super gross. And worse than that, paper straws are shown to contain forever chemicals! Reusable straws are even worse. Give me a real straw!
WHERE HAVE THE HEADPHONE JACKS GONE??
I had to buy an adapter for my phone, so I could plug in my headphones. How ridiculous. I also don’t like those new-fangled Apple earbuds.
I can see them falling out of my ears constantly and having to replace them. Give me normal wired earbuds any day.
CHARCOAL GRILLS
Old school and fun, charcoal grills are retro-ness at its best!
PAPER CHRISTMAS CARDS
I have kind of slacked off on sending real cards during the holidays. But there is nothing better than getting those bright holiday envelopes in the mail. Digital greetings just can’t compare!
MENUS IN RESTAURANTS
I’ve come across QR codes to access menus and it is so annoying!! Give me a normal menu!
LOVING LEFT-OVERS
Especially Thanksgiving or leftovers from any holiday where my mother-in-law has cooked. Nothing is better than turkey and mashed potatoes.
