For over 20 years, I have worked in social media and blogging. In that time, I have seen a lot of change. Twenty years ago, the field was mainly those with degrees and experience producing social media material. Now, as TikTok shows you, the field has been flooded with hacks.

From trying to find fame on TikTok and Instagram, many people are looking for attention and cash. I think Wayne’s World captured this influencer effect perfectly, way back in 1992.

Wayne hawks products in not-so-subtle ways, as Rob Lowe (a very young Rob Lowe) gives him advice. It is hysterical, especially to influencers!
