I Was At The Pharmacy The Other Day And Ran Into Some Hypocrites…
I was at the pharmacy/grocery store the other day, buying a blood pressure monitor for my husband.
There was a small line for the pharmacy. A woman in the front of the line asked loudly if the pharmacist could recommend anything for Covid.
“I’m positive for Covid,” she exclaimed, looking around. “And I need some meds.”
I kid you not, the five unmasked people in line backed up 10 feet.
So this brings up an interesting question. If so many are NOT afraid of Covid, why are they backing up?
This *might* sum it up!
Is it false bravado, that’s why they act like they are fine being maskless and unprotected. Is it peer pressure? Is it mask fatigue? Laziness?
And they seemed angry the woman had the gall to go to the store maskless. I wanted to say to them, millions do this every day! This is normal! This is our American society that doesn’t care about its neighbor!
