I think sometimes these Karens just don't feel heard in their regular life and that's why they lash out. I'm not taking a Karen's side but at middle age, many women feel like they are disappearing and not seen at all. Our society focuses on youth and beauty more than anything. As a woman gets older, she starts to lose her youth and looks and becomes invisible to others. That's one reason I think these incidents happen.
