I Got Antibody Testing Today- Here’s What Happened
I’ve been wanting to get antibody testing for a year. So finally I decided it was time to get tested. I had my 3rd booster of Pfizer in November. It has now been over 3 months.
I have been on the fence about when to get the 4th shot. With it around the corner, I wanted to find out if I still had antibodies.
I thought CVS offered antibody testing that showed the level of antibodies in the blood. I learned they do not when I got there. But I decided to have the test anyway.
It was a simple pinprick with a needle kind of similar to testing blood sugar. It took 15 minutes for the results. As you can see below, positive:
The test does not differentiate if the antibodies are from the vaccine or exposure or both. It was not surprising it was positive and a relief. The antibodies are still going strong.
Probably in the next month, I will be getting more extensive results at LabCorp.
