Are Amazon Customers Trading All Their Privacy To Save $$$??
I love to save money as much as the next person. I am a regular Amazon customer. However, when Amazon released its new $5/month prescription plan, I was skeptical.
Prime members can visit the Amazon Pharmacy website to sign up and view all of the eligible medications.
The list includes doxycycline, bupropion, cyclobenzaprine, finasteride, naproxen, tamoxifen citrate, and losartan. There are several eligible medications available that treat common conditions like allergies, breast cancer, depression, diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol.
It’s important to note that an Amazon RxPass is NOT insurance and you also cannot pay the monthly fee via an HSA or FSA. However, RxPass may come in handy if you don’t have medical coverage or if you pay more than $5 per month for medication. In addition to saving on prescriptions, the FREE delivery can be helpful for those with a tight schedule or mobility issues.
Amazon Already Knows Too Much
I don’t think I am alone in knowing that Amazon already knows too much about its customers. Their purchases, what they like to watch, books they read, and now their ailments.
