Ancestral Connections: Tracing My Lineage to Mark Twain, Walt Disney, and Other Remarkable Individuals
I am obsessed with my family tree, who I’m related to, and some peculiar generation gaps. First, we’ll start with the famous connections.
As pictured above, Mark Twain is my 8th cousin. Yes, it is a fairly far connection but still very exciting for me. As a writer, I love being related to other writers!

- Edgar Allan Poe (8th cousin) Another favorite of mine, The Raven!
- T.S. Eliot (9th cousin) Poet and playwriter
- Charlotte Bronte (9th cousin) Famous for Jane Eyre, one of my favorites
