Americans Are Living In A Reverse Robin Hood World

Robinhood, at least in movies and the Disney cartoon, robbed from the rich and gave to the poor.

Remember this Russell Crowe version of Robinhood from 2010? (as an aside, why isn’t Hollywood making good medieval movies anymore??)

The 2022 version of Robinhood is robbing from the poor and giving to the rich corporations. The gulf between the rich and poor is now an abyss. And the poor and working-class are falling into it.

I go grocery shopping once a week usually. Today, the first thing I noticed was empty shelves and a very small meat selection. I was disturbed by the empty meat cases, empty shelves, and of course the prices.

I’ve noticed Costco and Sam’s Club keep more items in stock, so I try and go there more often. But as any Costco member knows, it’s hard to go in and just buy one item.
