DID YOU KNOW??

  • The little “i” in a circle on YouTube ads are clickable and if it’s an unskippable ad you just click it and click stop seeing this ad and you back to your video.
  • When you have forgotten someone’s name, simply say: “I’m sorry, but what was your name one more time.” Then they will give you their first name you simply reply “No, I meant your last name.” (which is more socially acceptable to forget).
  • If you google Pizza Hut, you get an ad with coupon code, for 30% off Domino’s pizza
  • Dollar-store pregnancy tests are just as effective as their more expensive counterparts.
  • Buy things out of season, this can save you money. Unless its food, then buy it in season. (I use this trick all the time)
  • It’s easy to set up a vending machine. Buy snacks in bulk for like $100 and then you’ll make like twice that back. (Costco regularly clearances full-size candy bars that are perfect to resell)
  • Social media tracks you to the point that it records every message you write and stores it in a database, every call, message, voice message, image and posts are recorded.
  • It’s public record to find out what someone paid for their house and to check divorce records.
  • Easy broken glass clean up: Get the tiny pieces up with a piece of bread, the consistency and texture picks up even the smallest shard.
  • My big social cheat code is always to compliment people on their clothing or accessories
  • Always be polite to those who help you over the phone.
  • When you are angry at someone, write it down before reacting. Take overnight to cool down and revisit the situation in the morning
  • I have not tried this one yet, but it’s a clever one- Use your local area code + 867–5309 as the membership id at almost every grocery store and it will work. You get the discount without having to sign up because someone else already signed up with that number.
  • If you spill any liquid that will stain on your carpet (red wine, juice, etc), pour some salt on it. Work it into the carpet — just rub it in with your hands. Leave it there for a few hours (for serious stains, up to a day) and vacuum it out.
  • Under promise, over deliver. People will be pretty impressed.
  • Splinter removal: dip the splintered body part in some Elmer’s glue, let it dry, remove glue with splinter.
